Black Country Living Museum

SFS, Drylining, Partitions, Bespoke Ceilings and Acoustic Rafts, Plastering and Suspended Ceilings

The Black Country Living Museum is an open-air museum of rebuilt historic buildings in Dudley, West Midlands. This historic project was to expand the Black Country Living Museum with a new visitors' centre. A NHS clinic, record shop, barbers and pub will also form part of the new development, as part of BCLM: Forging Ahead. For those Peaky Blinders fans, BCLM was used as a filming location for the series! 

The new Visitor Centre that creates a physical link between the Museum and other attractions (including Dudley Zoo, Castle and Canal Trust) and welcome up to 5,000 visitors per day upon completion of the project. It also houses an introductory exhibition, food & drink and retail outlets.

We have also helped to complete 2 no. Cast Iron Houses with exterior limelight render and internal plastering. The development when completed will include an interesting collection of buildings:
